SUPKEM acts as the national umbrella body coordinating and supporting Islamic institutions across Kenya. This includes all Muslim organizations, societies, Mosque committees and groups in Kenya. SUPKEM's services are designed to offer representation and capacity support, ensuring alignment with faith, governance, and national development goals and the broader Muslim community's aspirations.
We help these institutions gain national recognition, enabling them to operate effectively and participate in decision-making platforms. Accredited institutions benefit from SUPKEM's advocacy, representation in national affairs, training, and resource mobilization support, ensuring they serve their communities while maintaining Islamic ethics and principles.

Services for Islamic Institutions.
Membership Accreditation
- This is the formal process through which Muslim organizations, institutions, mosques committees, societies, and groups become recognized as members of the Supreme Council of Kenya Muslims (SUPKEM). This accreditation confers legitimacy, credibility, and the right to be represented at national, regional, and local forums where SUPKEM acts as the umbrella body for the Muslim community in Kenya.
- Through this process, SUPKEM verifies the organizational structure, leadership, constitution, and activities of applicants to ensure alignment with SUPKEM's mandate, values and national legal requirements. Accredited members gain access to a range of support services, participate in activities convened by SUPKEM, and are listed as recognized contributors to the advancement of Muslim welfare and social development in Kenya.
