SUPKEM Services -
Membership
We offer membership opportunities to all Muslim organizations, groups and entities as per our umbrella body mandates to promote unity, representation, and collective action.
Organizations become part of SUPKEM’s umbrella, gaining representation in SUPKEM’s national council, access to capacity-building programs, and inclusion in national advocacy and consultation platforms.
Services
Benefits of Membership.
Representation
- We ensure that both individual and organizational members are effectively represented at the highest national, regional, and international levels. Members’ concerns, rights, and aspirations are championed in dialogues with government bodies, policy forums, and civil society platforms, ensuring the Muslim community's voice is heard and protected.
Recognition and Credibility
- Being an accredited SUPKEM member enhances legitimacy and public trust, helping organizations gain recognition in their communities, with stakeholders, and within broader interfaith and civic spaces.
Networking and Collaboration Opportunities
- Members become part of a vibrant network of Islamic organizations, leaders, scholars, and professionals across Kenya and beyond. This network fosters collaboration, peer learning, joint project implementation, and shared advocacy efforts, strengthening unity and collective impact.
Access to National and Regional Consultations
- Membership grants access to SUPKEM’s consultation forums, national dialogues, and decision-making processes on matters affecting Muslims in Kenya. This includes participation in discussions on education, health, religious rights, civic engagement, and socio-economic development.
